Important: First drop-in for free! If you’ve never taken a class with us, you can just drop by and join to see if Lindy Hop with SwingStep is something for you. 

About drop-ins

Why: 

Drop-in classes allow you to start dancing right away. There’s no waiting for a new course round to start.

They can augment your regular course and fill your week with more dancing; or they can help you keep dancing and learning whenever your schedule is unpredictable.

If you want to explore different topics, to get a broader exposure to the dance, this is the place for you. 

What: 

Every class lasts 60 minutes and you will also get a recap video that will be available for you on your Recap page.

Many of our drop-in classes are mixed- or open-level. You’ll learn together with people from different experience levels, broadening your learning environment and strengthening the community we share.

Classes are given in English and/or German, depending on the needs of the students.

How to sign up:Payment and Registration

For the very first time, you can just drop in – the first class is free!

After that, you can book drop-ins with the following payment options:

• Single Class ticket
• 6-Class Package
• Full Pass 30-day subscription

Registration Details:

If you have a subscription, that’s it, you’re done!

If you’ve chosen to pay using tickets, then you select the Drop-In you’re interested in and quickly sign up for it with the provided form.

Courses

Important:  With a “Full Pass” 30-day subscription, you can sign up to as many courses and drop-ins as you want. Or, you can purchase a single course using a 6-class package.

About courses

Why: 

Fixed courses allow you to stay on a topic to fully explore it and get progress over several weeks working together with your group. Some groups even become close friends outside the classroom.

What: 

Every course contains 60 minute classes over several weeks (most courses are six weeks long; on occasion we have special topic courses of different lengths).

You will receive a recap video per 60 min class, even if you’ve missed a class. 

Classes are given in English and/or German, depending on the needs of the students.

How to sign up: Payment and Registration

We strongly recommend paying via the “Full Pass” subscription. Even if you only join one class per week, it’s already cheaper than paying via tickets.

Whatever you decide, you’ll first need to register for your subscription or buy your ticket package. Then, while logged into your SwingStep account, browse through the courses and choose the course you want.

Registration Details:

You can sign up for courses alone or with a partner; we’ll work to achieve a lead/follow balance for the group.

If you sign up with a partner, both you and your partner need a valid subscription or 6-class-package in order to join a course. 

If you choose the Full Pass subscription, you can cancel it at any time without fees. Also, discounts are available through our Pay-it-Forward Fund. 

Missed the first week but still want to join the course? No problem, just sign up for the course and we’ll help you catch up!

Online Courses

Important: The entire online program is included in the “Full Pass” 30-day subscription. The Online-Pass can also be individually purchased for 29€/month.

About online courses

Why: 

The online training material takes you deep into many aspects of the dance, allowing you to stay in full control of your learning time, path and pace. 

What: 

With 90+ hours of instructional videos, you get a complete consistent training from Beginner to Advanced.

You also get full access to our regular live Solo Jazz classes over zoom.

The videos are recorded in English. The live sessions are given in English and/or German, depending on the needs of the students.

There is training you can follow with or without a partner.

If you want to take classes with us, but you don’t want to commit to a subscription yet, then this option is for you.

This package is a set of 6 “single tickets”. You can use all of your tickets to sign up for a single course (typically 6 weeks),or use the tickets separately for drop-in lessons. 

Our system keeps track of how many tickets you have left, whether you use them for a 3-week course and then later use them for 3 single drop-in lessons, or any other combination.

You have 4 months to use these tickets before they expire.
