Barrel Roll Turns
Flashy and Challenging
Day & Time: Wednesday, 20:15 – 21:15
Dates: 17.07.2024 – 24.07.2024
Barrel rolls can feel and look amazing - the fancy arms, how close we are to our partner while we spin; it can really be an eye-catcher. They can also be really challenging: we need great control over our spins, over our arms, and our rhythm to make them work.
In this course we'll dig into the techniques that make this rollercoaster of a move feel great, and we'll explore variations to keep it fresh and playful.
You won't need to know a lot of specific moves in order to join this course, but barrel rolls can be quite difficult so you should have a plenty of experience with arm control and turns already before you try it. For instance you have had at least a year of regular classes and social dancing and are already comfortable leading or following some spins and inside turns. As always, if you're not sure whether this course is a fit for you, just ask us!
