Footwork & Style
Create, replace, enjoy
Day & Time: Tuesday, 19:00 – 20:00
Dates: 08.08.2023 – 08.08.2023
Looking for ways to change up your dancing without adding a whole bunch of new moves to your repertoire? Wonder how your favourite dancers make everything seem so fresh and new? Just change up your footwork and play with your style! The same old moves will feel fresh and playful when you can adapt your movement and steps to suit the song, to express your mood, and play with your partner.
For this course, we recommend you have at least a few months' experience dancing Lindy Hop - for instance having done Lindy Hop Starter Kit, Lindy Hop Fundamentals and Tucks & Turns with us. The specific moves you've learned are not important, but you should feel comfortable with a basic Lindy Hop repertoire. If you're not sure if the course is right for you, please feel free to ask us!

All Info at Once
Here’s where Footwork & Style takes place:
SwingStation Kurfürsten-Anlage 58
69115 Heidelberg
The entrance is on the eastern side of the building, reachable from the Kurfürsten-Anlage itself or from the Kirchstraße. Our studio is on the ground floor, at the end of the hall.
Public Transportation: many busses, streetcars, trains; stops “Hauptbahnhof” or “Stadtwerke”.
Parking: please do not park in the yard, the parking spaces don’t belong to us and you might get a ticket. It’s hard to find parking spots in our area, so you should plan in some extra time. You can try to find street parking in the Kirchstraße or Vangerowstraße, or you might need to go to a nearby Parkhaus (e.g. P1 in the Poststraße) and walk from there.
