Intro to Musicality
T'Ain't What You Do...
Day & Time: Wednesday, 19:00 – 20:00
Dates: 30.07.2025 – 30.07.2025
As the great Jimmie Lunceford's band sings, "T'Ain't what you do, it's the way that cha do it!"
Understanding the layers of jazz music will help you hear a lot more, so you'll have a much easier time knowing what's happening in a song while you're dancing to it. In this class we'll work on what to listen for, and help you find ways to reflect what you hear in your dancing - to be more attuned to the music, and to create a lot more excitement and fun.
In order to join the course, we suggest that you already have a little swing dance experience. For example, if you've done the Lindy Hop Starter Kit and Lindy Hop Fundamentals with us, you'll have what you need to keep up with the material.
