Solo Blues and Slow Jazz
Fine and Mellow
Day & Time: Tuesday, 19:00 – 20:00
Dates: 30.08.2022 – 13.09.2022
What to do when the music gets slow? Slow jazz is wonderful, playful, and inspiring, but sometimes we don't know what to do with it. In this class you'll get lots of great ideas and see how much fun you can have filling out all that wonderful time in every beat.
Dancing fast can be hard, but dancing slow can be even harder! How do you fill all the time you have? What can you do to make your movements fluid, and keep a solid groove through everything you do? In this course you'll get both the technique and the inspiration to rock it on any slow Jazz or Blues song that comes your way.
This course is open to all, no matter whether you have tons of dance experience or it's your first time. Everyone is welcome!

Here’s where Solo Blues and Slow Jazz takes place:
SwingStation Kurfürsten-Anlage 58
69115 Heidelberg
The entrance is on the eastern side of the building, reachable from the Kurfürsten-Anlage itself or from the Kirchstraße. Our studio is on the ground floor, at the end of the hall.
Public Transportation: many busses, streetcars, trains; stops “Hauptbahnhof” or “Stadtwerke”.
Parking: please do not park in the yard, the parking spaces don’t belong to us and you might get a ticket. It’s hard to find parking spots in our area, so you should plan in some extra time. You can try to find street parking in the Kirchstraße or Vangerowstraße, or you might need to go to a nearby Parkhaus (e.g. P1 in the Poststraße) and walk from there.
