Swing Out Clinic
Review, Refine, Revitalize
Day & Time: Wednesday, 19:00 – 20:00
Dates: 17.07.2024 – 24.07.2024
The swing out is THE must-have move for every Lindy Hopper. Swing Out Clinic is designed to review the basic techniques and add refinement and variations.
Note: this course is intended for students who already know the swing out. If you haven't done swing outs before, this course probably isn't for you. If you're not sure, please ask us!
This course builds up on the basic swing out as you learned it, for example in Swing Outs & Swivels, and adds new layers of technical difficulty.
If you haven’t taken Swing Outs & Swivels with us: we recommend that you have had at least 6 months of regular class and social dance experience and taken at least several weeks of classes that focused on the swing out.
If you're not sure whether this course is right for you, don’t hesitate to ask us 🙂

All Info at Once
Here’s where Swing Out Clinic takes place:
SwingStation Kurfürsten-Anlage 58
69115 Heidelberg
The entrance is on the eastern side of the building, reachable from the Kurfürsten-Anlage itself or from the Kirchstraße. Our studio is on the ground floor, at the end of the hall.
Public Transportation: many busses, streetcars, trains; stops “Hauptbahnhof” or “Stadtwerke”.
Parking: please do not park in the yard, the parking spaces don’t belong to us and you might get a ticket. It’s hard to find parking spots in our area, so you should plan in some extra time. You can try to find street parking in the Kirchstraße or Vangerowstraße, or you might need to go to a nearby Parkhaus (e.g. P1 in the Poststraße) and walk from there.
