SwingStep has moved!

We’re excited to announce that we’ve found a new home, just a few blocks away from our old studio! We hope you’ll be patient with us: it still needs a few more renovations to make it into a cosy home, and meanwhile we wanted to start using it for classes right away.

The building is at the intersection of Ringstraße with Hildastraße, our entrance is at the north-east corner, from the Ringstraße.

Our studio is in the “souterrain” – go downstairs and follow the signs until you hear swing music 😉

IMPORTANT: Building closed in the evenings!

Unfortunately there’s no buzzer installed yet, and the building doors lock in the evenings, so we will have to come up and let you in for evening classes. One of the teachers will come up 10 minutes before the class starts, and then again just before class. If you’re late for class: we’ll check the door occasionally; otherwise you can call someone so that we can come out to let you in.

Public Transportation: many busses, streetcars, trains; stops “Hauptbahnhof”, “Ringstraße”, or “Römerkreis Süd”.

Parking: it can be a bit tricky to find parking spots, so you should plan in some extra time. There’s a little bit of free street parking available in the Ringstraße (with Parkscheibe), metred parking at Kaiserstr and Belfortstr (the metre is at Kaiserstr 60). You can also try a nearby Parkhaus: there’s the nearby Scheck-In Centre (entrance from Kleinschmidtstraße), or a bit further away the P1 (entrance from Poststraße).

Accessibility: our studio is wheelchair-accessible, but the elevator is in a locked area of the building. If you have any mobility issues please contact us in advance so that we can arrange access for you.
